Suspense, one Fair, one Book
Dear readers,
Today we would like to drop here a few words about a book that could help you write suspense fiction!
The book is “Plotting and Writing Suspense Fiction” by Patricia Highsmith. In this book the writer explains us how she creates her characters and plots not forgetting to mention that after a first version there can be an enormous need to improve the text not only as the writing is concerned but also the content, the story that is being told… in fact, if she gets bored then everything is horrible!
We believe the book does not contain something as a cooking recipe, where step by step you produce something, not a cake 😊 but a suspense piece of writing…
Nevertheless, it is not the opposite of this, it is a map of questions to take into account, something to help people who become adventurous on this literary genre. Even though we can look to a few suggestions as recipes, as long as that attitude is helpful, nevertheless the risk of failure is always a reality, and the same holds true for any new story because it should be always unique.
Having this in mind, today we always share that the Lisbon Book Fair is about to begin, from 4th June to 22nd June.

Finally, we would like to spread the word about a new book from Will Parks, UNICEF humanitarian, scholar and thought leader:
“Graceful Leadership – Inspiring hope, creativity and resilience in times of peace and crisis”
Enjoy.
